During the late Shang Dynasty, Yaksha, the great general of the East China Sea, attempted to usurp the power of the Dragon King of the East China Sea. He plotted to assassinate the Dragon King's daughter (voiced by Han Jiaojiao) to fulfill his ambitions. However, his plot was inadvertently uncovered by Nezha (voiced by Tao Dian), the son of Li Jing, the general of Chentang Pass. To conceal his plan, Yaksha framed Nezha for the Dragon Girl's murder, turning him into a public enemy of the dragon clan. Meanwhile, Nezha, under the orders of the mysterious immortal Taiyi Zhenren (voiced by Zou Liang), journeyed to the Golden Light Cave to cultivate. Along the way, he encountered the amnesiac Dragon Girl and Tuxingsun (voiced by Liu Yao), a master of transformation and escaping the earth. All three became Taiyi Zhenren's disciples, learning magic together. While Nezha and his companions were quietly cultivating, Yaksha led a large force from the Dragon Palace to Chentang Pass, triggering an imminent war. The story blends the complex political struggles of the xianxia world with the ingenious use of magic, showcasing the intrigues and intertwined destinies of the diverse characters.
